SKIN-COLIN

Skin-Colin is a CE-marked Class III Medical Device issued by the National Institute of Health and containing: hyaluronic acid fragments (20-38 monomers), Amino Acids, a phosphate-based buffer system with added choline.

APPLICATION:
• Face,
• neck,
• décolleté,
• hands.

FREQUENCY:
• Face: One session every 15-30 days, alone or in combination with Skin-OX.
• Body muscle toning: 5 ml for each muscle (intramuscular) 1 time a week for 4 weeks.

ACTION:
The technique, termed Skin Improve, aims to optimize skin physiology by fibroblastic activation for neoformation of matrix components and normalization of its colloidal state in addition to preventing photoaging damage at the epidermis level. The Medical Device used for this purpose contains:

Hyaluronic acid fragments (20-38 monomers) capable of activating CD44 of the fibroblast / Amino acid precursors of collagen, elastin, and glycosaminoglycans / Phosphate-based buffer system / Choline as a precursor of skin acetylcholine.

The introduction of the product, intradermally, involves the classic dosage schedule of mesotherapy.

WHAT IS CHOLINE?
Muscle tone is achieved by the continuous release of acetylcholine. As we age, acetylcholine levels drop and cause reduced muscle tone. Acetylcholine is derived in its formation from choline. Administration of this precursor at the muscle level allows for increased acetylcholine concentration and consequently improved tissue tone.

Principle of the method
CD44 fibroblasts are activated and provide, in the surrounding environment, the necessary principles for the cell to build collagen, elastin, and glycosaminoglycans. Biological optimization of the skin condition is achieved. In addition, matrix acidity buffering maintains the sol state of the colloidal solution by facilitating metabolic exchanges. Finally, choline, as a precursor of acetylcholine, optimizes the skin cholinergic system and corneocyte differentiation with prevention of UV damage.
